What the route covers
The trip begins in Nainital, where the days are shaped by the lake itself: boat rides, a walk along the Mall Road, and viewpoints over the town. A stop at neighbouring Bhimtal adds a calmer, less crowded lake. From there the road climbs to Mukteshwar, a quiet hill village known for its orchards, sweeping Himalayan views and unhurried evenings.
The final two nights are near Corbett, where the pace shifts from hills to forest. Depending on the season and park rules, you can plan a jungle safari, spend time by the Kosi river, or simply enjoy the resort grounds before the drive back to Delhi.
Best time to go
March to June is pleasant in the hills and suits families travelling in school holidays. September to November brings clearer skies and sharper mountain views. Winters are cold in Nainital and Mukteshwar, with a chance of snow at higher points. Corbett’s core safari zones are generally closed during the monsoon, so we recommend checking dates with us before you book.

Meet your driver at your agreed Delhi pickup point and travel to Nainital. Check in, freshen up and keep the evening relaxed. If arrival time permits, enjoy a walk around Mall Road.

2Lakeside walks & local sights
After breakfast, explore Nainital at an easy pace. Visit Naina Devi Temple and spend time around Naini Lake. Boating and the ropeway can be added at your own cost, subject to operations and queues. Return to your hotel for the evening.

3A quieter side of the hills
Check out after breakfast. Stop around Bhimtal before continuing to Mukteshwar. Settle into your stay and enjoy a quiet evening. Sightseeing stops will be planned around traffic, weather and your arrival time.

4From hill views to forest country
Enjoy breakfast and, if conditions allow, a short local visit around Mukteshwar before driving towards your Corbett-area resort. Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Keep this day for a pre-booked jungle safari if you choose to add one. The zone, entry gate and session depend on permit availability and park operations. Otherwise, enjoy a relaxed day at your resort. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.

6Breakfast, checkout & the drive home
